Monologue and duologue workshops usually take the form of Master Classes and address such topics as socio-historical context and its influence on performance, as well as characterisation, voice, movement, and how to annotate a script for Edexcel Unit 2 etc. 

We have run a number of Master Classes on monologues and duologues in 2009 with great feedback from teachers and students. As always, we tailor the monologue and duologue workshops to the specific extracts the students are working on – we do not offer one-size-fits all solutions.

Monologue and duologue workshops can also be adapted to help students with the Big Speech or the Big Scene in any of their performance work, exam pieces, auditions, the school play etc.

As professional actor-directors with long experience of both sides of the audition process, we are particularly well placed to help make the most of those few short minutes in the examiner’s spotlight!
